01

Initial Consultation

Your journey with Orases starts with a Discovery Call, where we take the time to understand your business objectives, challenges, and aspirations. Sometimes several conversations are necessary depending on the size of the project and potential scope. These initial conversations help us provide a concise introduction to our process and ask essential starter questions, ensuring a smooth progression through our engagement. We aim to determine if Orases is the right partner to deliver an effective solution/service tailored to your needs. In some cases, we might exchange standard legal documentation, e.g. a mutual NDA, to facilitate open and transparent communication.

During the Discovery Call, it’s crucial for our team to start aligning on what success looks like for your project. We’ll delve into understanding your vision for the solution, including key milestones and success criteria. This ensures that we are collectively working towards a shared goal and sets the stage for a cohesive and targeted approach throughout our collaboration.

Expected Outcomes: We assess mutual compatibility and, if aligned, gather the necessary information to assemble the ideal Orases team to meet your project’s needs. Additionally, we begin to establish a shared understanding of success and the vision for the solution, ensuring all parties are on the same page from the outset.

Purpose: To have a meaningful conversation about your business and the proposed project while introducing you to Orases and how we can help address the challenges you are facing.

Business Case Alignment

After our initial discovery call, we’ll proceed to the Business Case Alignment, where you’ll meet additional team members and learn more about Orases’ approach to managing successful projects. This phase includes an in-depth review of your needs and any provided documentation, followed by thorough discussions with our technical experts to gain a comprehensive understanding of your project requirements and scope. For projects with existing infrastructure, systems, or technology stacks, we will collect additional details necessary for understanding your business’ goals and how to achieve them. This collaborative process may span multiple meetings to ensure we gather all critical information and confirm that we’re the right fit for your project.

Expected Outcomes: Connecting your business objectives with the project’s business case and technical information allows us to assemble a specialized Orases team for the Solution Design Workshop, ensuring alignment and feasibility for successful project execution.

Vision-to-Reality Workshop

The insights gathered during the Business Case Alignment set our teams up for success for the next step – a deep dive into turning your vision into a reality. Our Vision-to-Reality Workshops are a unique engagement designed to thoroughly understand your goals, workflows, and daily operations. Our workshops involve in-depth business strategy and technical discussions to pinpoint problem areas, visions, and develop systems that cater to both administrators and end-users.

We’ll examine your data management scale, target audience, and desired user experience, with the goal of identifying gaps and clarifying requirements. This process allows us to responsibly provide you with detailed options, a proposed budget, a comprehensive scope of work, and valuable artifacts such as user designs, architecture diagrams, product roadmaps, and clickable prototypes.

Even if you choose not to proceed with the project, these materials can serve as a backbone for any future decisions.

Expected outcomes: A project proposal that includes a detailed scope of work, a phased solution roadmap, proposed solution architecture, and strategic recommendations to guide your business decisions and ensure successful project completion.

Purpose: Gain a thorough understanding of your project from business case, technical architecture, and scope perspectives to ensure alignment with the Orases team on both the solution and desired outcomes. This enables us to deliver a proposal with budget estimates and the foundational materials necessary to kick off the project, whether or not you choose to proceed with Orases.
